I Can't Get No Satisfaction: Improving Customer Service with New AX 2012 R3 Features - (Part 1 of 2)
Do you have customers? Do they call you about stuff? Do they pay you for stuff? If so, you should probably be using the Call center module. Even if you don't think you have a call center, you probably want to deliver high quality customer service to your customers whether they are end consumers or businesses. Join the first of this two-part series to navigate through the new customer service screens and see a demonstration of how to manage customer inquiries efficiently with the new features in R3. We will discuss how to use the Customer service workbench to quickly and easily find customers and their related information. We will also look at how to use case management to manage customer issues and other features available directly from the new Customer service workbench in AX 2012 R3.

Part two of this series will focus on additional features you can use to help manage your orders. We will discuss how to create verification rules that will automatically place orders on hold for review. We will cover how you can use check holds, advanced credit limit checking, and out of balance payment workbenches to manage orders that have payment issues. We will also look at how you can use price override controls to prevent over discounting, and how you can give visibility into your margins by using the margin alert feature.
